The 3rd ARDIT International Congress is devoted to Transgression, Exclussion and Persecution in the Middle Ages. Linda G. Jones will present the paper “‘Oh! Slave girl. You reside among the Christians; You must be one of them’: Rhetorical Mechanisms of Social Exclusion and Transgression in the Sermons of Medieval Mediterranean Muslim Preachers” next Wednesday 17th, and Lidia Negoi will present the paper “The enemy within: Heretics in the Sermons of Nicholas Eymerich, OP” next Thursday 18th.
