Pedro Martínez de Osma

(c. 1427-1480). Professor of theology at the University of Salamanca. In an already advanced age, he defended controversial arguments about the confession and the indulgences. He was sent trial by the Inquisition and sentenced, especially for his De confessione, which was burned. He wrote philosophical and theological works, and a volume of sermons is extant.
