(1380-1431) He was king’s counsellor at the Royal Court in Barcelona. By 1415 he was ordained priest and had important positions within the Church. He was created cardinal, and as such attended the Council of Constance.
He wrote and delivered religious as well as literary sermons or speeches before the king and in relevant events. The literary sermons have been edited and studied (Pujol, 1996), but the religious sermons remain unedited (Barcelona, Biblioteca de Catalunya, ms. 466).
